Description: Anisomycin, [Flagecidin], is an antibiotic which inhibits Protein Synthesis. Activates p54, MAP Kinases and Stress-Activated Protein Kinases. Anisomycin is also anti-fungal used in Martin-Lewis Medium to inhibit C. albicans and aid in identification of N. gonorrhoeae.
