Hemocyanin, Agarose Immobilized, Keyhole Limpet, Megathura crenulata; [KLH Agarose Immobilized]
[H-1088]
|
Full Name: Hemocyanin, Keyhole Limpet, Megathura crenulata, Agarose Immobilized; [KLH, Agarose Immobilized]
Description: Hemocyanin immobilized to aldehyde activated agarose at 5-7 mg KLH per mL. Coupled KLH is then stabilized by additional cross-linking to provide for a leach-free gel and useful to remove IgG’s directed against KLH.
Resin can be easily separated from extracts by centrifugation using batch or spin column procedures. Although the resin can be reused after regeneration from 6M guanidine hydrochloride, it is best suited for single use.
Loading conditions: Neat serum or acites (or any dilution in a suitable buffer formulation between pH 6-8). Wash buffers containing 0.15 to 0.5 M NaCl should be used to elute unbound antibody.
Purity: Hemocyanin Content: 1 mL of resin bound with approximately 5 – 7 mg of Keyhole Limpet hemocyanin.
Formulation: 50% slurry in 3 M NaCl, 20mM sodium phosphate buffer, pH, 7.4 and 1 mM EGTA.
Storage: +4C.
