iTransFect™ Reagent, Transfect Insect Cells [I-1310]
Product ID: iTransFect™ Reagent

Description: iTransFect reagent is utilized for Insect Cell Transfection. iTransfect is a liposome formulation developed for highly efficient transfection of Spodoptera frugiperda-derived insect cells (e.g., Sf9 or Sf21). iTransFect offers the following advantages:

• simple 30 minute protocol
• minimal cellular toxicity
• optimized formulation assures reproducible results across a number of conditions
• broad vector delivery capability. iTransFect can be used with many types of DNA, including plasmids, bacmids, baculoviruses, and helper vectors.
• high expression levels for large or small scale protein production
• designed so that less reagent and DNA are needed compared to other currently available products
• superior transfection results. iTransFect outperforms other insect cell transfection reagents in comparison studies.

Suitability: iTransFect is suitable for transient or stable transfections and provides excellent results in both adherent and suspension cultures. One milliliter of iTransFect is sufficient for 100 transfections in 35-mm plates or a single transfection in a 100 ml suspension culture.

Composition: 1 ml of iTransFect Reagent (1.5 mg/ml cationic lipid in a stabilized formulation filled in serum vials).

Storage: Store iTransFect Reagent at 4°C. iTransFect SHOULD NOT BE FROZEN.
