Description: Nitro-tyrosine (NT) has been used extensively as an index of peroxynitrite formation. This kit allows researchers to assay NT in various bio-fluids, using a powerful novel HPLC assay.

Handling: When stored at 4°C, the kit can be stored for up to one year. We do recommend, for optimum performance, that the nitrotyrosine standard (Vial 4) is kept frozen.

General Comments: This assay is sufficiently sensitive to determine basal levels in most bio-fluids, and in water. Typically levels as low as 2-4pmol/ml NT can be detected.
