Aminoglycoside used as a selective agent of transfected mammalian, yeast, plant and bacteria cells. Resistance is conferred by the bacterial gene for aminoglycoside-3'-phophotransferase that can be expressed in eukaryotic cells. Related to Gentamycin. Purity data is for a concentration of 50 mg/ml.
