AG Scientific: A leader in buffers
Good's Buffers (also Good buffers) were described by Norman Good, et al., in 1966. A Good’s Buffer is one of twelve buffers selected for biological compatibility on the basis of particular criteria including pH, solubility, membrane impermeability, low ionic/salt effects, low cationic complex activity, stability, optical absorbance, and ease of preparation. Many remain staples in modern biology laboratories, Good’s Buffers, in order of increasing pKa are: MES, ADA, PIPES, ACES, cholamine Chloride, BES, TES, HEPES, acetamidoglycine, tricine, glycinamdie and Bicine.
AG Scientific has several buffers available and can deliver directly to scientists, from small-scale to bulk orders. Our leadership in bulk supply allows us to provide custom product packaging and create multiple product forms. We offer “just in time” delivery, private labeling, and custom formulations for specific research needs.
