iTransFect reagent is a liposome formulation developed for highly efficient transfection of Spodoptera frugiperda-derived insect cells (e.g., Sf9 or Sf21). iTransFect offers the following advantages: simple 30 minute protocol, minimal cellular toxicity, optimized formulation assures reproducible results across a number of conditions, can be used with many types of DNA, including plasmids, bacmids, baculoviruses, and helper vectors, provides high expression levels for large or small scale protein production, designed so that less reagent and DNA are needed compared to other currently available products, superior transfection results. iTransFect outperforms other insect cell transfection reagents in comparison studies.
