Product Description
Immunosuppressive agent. Mycophenolic acid (MPA) has been tested extensively in renal transplant patients and has been shown to be effective in reducing the incidence of acute graft rejection. MPA is now being evaluated in combinations with tacrolimus (FK-506, Prod# F-1030) or sirolimus (Rapamycin, Prod# R-1018). It selectively inhibits lymphocyte proliferation by blocking the enzyme, inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase, part of in the guanosine monophosphate pathway. This enzyme is involved in the de novo synthesis of purine nucleotides1. * Inquire for bulk gram pricing**
